This Time on reviewing a Kendrick album: TPAB is an incredible album. It flows so well with the style and message of the album, and songs like King Kunta, Alright and i are actual great songs. The whole album is just really good and comparing this to one of the more recent albums I reviewed, YSIV by Logic, they seem so identical in structure, yet Kendrick is able to pull it off to such a masterful degree. The fact that Kendrick has a 12-minute ender called Mortal Man and it's still 10 times better than the long shit Logic put at the end of his album. Some interludes go for a bit too long, but the fact this album is 1 hour and 19 minutes, yet never feels like it's dragging until maybe mid-way through Mortal Man is incredible. Kendrick put himself on the map for this album, and I am so happy I listened to DAMN. first, so that this album seemed so much better.
Devil's Score: 9
