The Trench is the most recent album from London singer-songwriter Alexander Wolfe. The album's context, as I was told by Quantum, is about a man in war who sacrifices his soul to the devil to save his life, but instead saves the life of a young boy. All in all, the music is quite beautiful, incorporating orchestral elements into an alt-rock vibe with some strong vocals as well. My drawback is that I did feel like the album dragged slightly, as I had to check how far I had listened in at song 3/8. Overall, it's a great album to revise to and it's definitely worth a listen.
Devil's Score: 7
