ALBUM REVIEW: Metallica by Metallica

Going into this, I was scared that it would be similar to Mothership and that I’d not enjoy the music. By god, how wrong I was. Kicking off with "Enter Sandman", a song that somehow I haven’t heard before, it kicked me into gear and I loved it. The next song after that “Sad But True” sounded like boss battle music and the whole album was a joy to listen to. It really broke down my perceptions and as I got to the end, I was still enjoying the album. Metallica has surprised me.
